Hello, and thank you for joining me.
Whether you've just purchased membership to the toddler technique video series, or whether you've just popped in to have a look around, I'm very pleased to have you. Welcome!
You are probably here because you are struggling with bedtime, maybe with your toddler or your pre-schooler, or maybe overnight is a bit of a struggle. Maybe you feel like they're in charge of you. Undoubtedly, you're sick of Googling what to do with toddlers at bedtime. Maybe you're fed up with listening to well-meaning friends and relatives who've all got their opinions on how you should handle things. Because you are the expert on your child, aren't you? And all children are different. So what's going to work for one may not necessarily work for another.
Now in this series, I won't be telling you what you have to do in order to smooth the path to bedtime. Instead, I'm going to point you to the relevant things to consider. And I'm going to share all of the shortcuts and happy discoveries that I've made over the years as a holistic sleep coach. And let's not forget as a mum of four.
I'm going to help you uncover the reasons for resistance at bedtime. Is your child overtired or under-tired? Oh gosh, that endless question. And is it really a sleep problem that we're dealing with? Maybe there's something else going on that you hadn't considered before. I'm going to help you to leave no stone unturned.
Also, I don't want you to forget that it's not just about bedtime. It's trying to see every possible opportunity in the day for connecting with your child, for establishing calm leadership, and for fostering happy rituals so that once you arrive in the evening, the bedtime part will actually be a breeze because you've laid the groundwork ahead of time.
Now the way I have set out this series is in four modules, that covers mornings, daytimes, evenings, and bedtime. And most people really only think about bedtime from the late afternoon onwards. So I'm going to help you to set the stage for bedtime by harnessing that connection earlier in the day when your energy levels are high, when everybody's feeling a lot more cheery and patient, almost like a gift to your future self at bedtime.
The videos are going to be broken down into bite-sized pieces, but overall, it spans about three hours worth of viewing and I do recommend that you watch it all in order. Obviously, we're all human and I understand you might want to skip ahead to the points of interest, which is totally fine too.
This video series largely focuses on improving bedtime, but it's also a really great place to begin with laying solid foundations for improving overnight sleep too if that remains tricky once you've made these changes.
So sit back and enjoy. I am thrilled to be your personal guide on this journey to easing and enjoying your toddler's bedtime.
So let's get started and I'll see you in the next video.
