Welcome to the Toddler Technique video series, designed to help you and your little one achieve peaceful, restorative sleep without the dreaded sleep training that so many of us are wary of. This programme is rooted in evidence based, gentle parenting principles, focusing on empathy, respect, and understanding. My suggestions are designed to support your toddler’s emotional development while helping you discover kind and respectful methods for optimising sleep.
Join a supportive community of like-minded parents who are on the same journey. Share experiences, gain insights, and find encouragement in our members-only Facebook forum, where I check in daily to answer questions. You will also have lifetime access to exclusive content, including video tutorials, detailed summaries, and live group question & answer calls with me, each week. I am a mum of 4, a registered midwife and a certified holistic sleep coach. I understand the delicate balance parents face when trying to improve sleep without jeopardising attachment or connection with their little ones.
Please note: I will be away on a family break during July, so there will be no Q&A calls during July.
Zoom calls will resume on Friday 2nd of August.
Thank you for your understanding.
• you have a toddler who struggles to wind down in the evening. Maybe they scream and cry at bedtime or become mischievous, repeatedly running out of the bedroom. In either case, they often employ multiple delay tactics and resist every suggestion or request you make.
• your toddler wakes multiple times a night and needs repeated input from you to fall back to sleep. Perhaps you're rocking or feeding them every hour or two of every night?
• it's not just sleep. Maybe dinner times are chaotic, with food refusals and tantrums as the main course.
• you consider yourself a patient, gentle and loving parent, yet you are increasingly annoyed, anxious, resentful or stressed about evenings and overnights with your child.
• you are spending the entire evening getting them to sleep because you instinctively know that sleep training is NOT for you or your family
• you want to be fully available for the needs of your toddler at sleep time but would like it to be a more peaceful and loving experience. Maybe you love co-sleeping but you don't love the way your child needs to feed whenever they stir.
• you have a curious mind and like to fully understand the cause of life's challenges before taking action.
• you have the patience and capacity to try something new and fun.
• you are open-minded and feel able to let go of pre-conceptions about what your child's routines 'should' look like
• you're not convinced you need 1:1 coaching, yet you know some insights and pointers would be helpful.
This 3-hour series is packed with practical tips, presented in short and manageable video sessions with readable video summaries.
